Anna started it. Or maybe Horvendile. Anyway, we have here a list of things about your humble narrator. Or maybe not so humble. See point six.

• I’ve never been any good in team sports.


• Except skydiving (which features only very brief periods of collaboration!)


• I do all my best work without obtaining the approval of management, clients or colleagues.


• I usually get away with it.


• My life is one of laziness punctuated by bursts of frantic activity.


• I think I’d probably make a really great world dictator.


• I’m something of an environmentalist.


• I’ve done some work that people might consider unethical.


• I think the opposite.


• I used to teach, on a voluntary basis.


• I enjoyed it, but felt that the profession wasn’t valued enough.


• I’m twenty years too young for the music I listen to.


• I like to wear pretty lingerie sometimes.


• Which is unusual, for a guy.


• I’m pretty relaxed about the whole thing nowadays.


• I remember music accurately. Note for note - even if I don’t like it.


• It really grates when somebody gets a note or a lyric wrong.


• I never learned to play a musical instrument.


• I believe that television rots your brain.


• I save money, every month.


• I have no idea what it’s supposed to be for.

• I love New Zealand and Sweden.

• But I’ve never bought a song from iTunes.

• I think the European Union doesn’t work properly.


• I love wordplay - especially Spoonerisms, which I (predictably) refer to as 'word botching'.

• I’ve never actually had it; I just like the name.


• I usually skip dessert.
